ALEESIA
Since releasing her first radio single in 2009, Aleesia has had consistent Top 40 charting success in Canada, and has performed alongside artists Bruno Mars, Sir Elton John, and Adam Lambert among others. She has worked with International artists like Big Sean (on her 2012 hit "Kiss It Bye Bye"), DVBBS, Martin Garrix, Robin Schulz, The Stereotypes, Ryan Kowarsky of b4-4, Dan Talevski, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and JR Rotem.
Born in Scarborough, and raised in the suburbs north of Toronto, the indie singer-songwriter has captured worldwide audiences with her sultry vocals on dance records like "Gold Skies" the title track off Martin Garrix's EP, "Love Me Loud" on Robin Schulz album 'Sugar', and most recently "Ballarena" with DJ Savi & Not From Mars. As a songwriter she crossed over into Asia in 2016, writing "I'll Be Yours" for K-Pop superstars' Girl's Day and "Playback" for girl group "Playback".
In Fall of 2018 she released her latest single "Money Tree", a contagious pop-fusion mixing intimate vocals, dance beats, and a Balkan flavour drawn from her cultural roots. With more collaborations to come and her own EP in the works, Aleesia vows to "keep the music coming". With raw in her voice, and real in her lyrics, we can't wait to see what comes next for this versatile singer-songwriter.
